Description

The DeWalt DCD999 is the most powerful 18v drill that they have made. While it is a completely new model it is an upgrade from DCD996 as it has been designed with FlexVolt advantagr which gives the tool multiple benefits when using a Dewalt FlexVolt Battery, such as;

- Brand new magnetic bit holder
- Improved 3-Speed Transmission designed to handle increased power level
- Improved side-handle for managing the increase in torque level
- A high-power density motor allowing for more power for heavy duty application
- Brand new electronic module which increases battery power and productivity.

The increase in power output when using a FlexVolt battery is clear to see as using the DCD999 with a 18v 5Ah battery has an output of 860W. When using a FlexVolt 6Ah batter there is an output of 1219W and a 9Ah has an output of 1296W.
