As well as heavy section timber teks, we also supply a vast timber tek light section within our fixings and fastenings stock. Designed to fasten materials such as timber, chipboard and plywood to metal, timber tek light section screws are suitable for metals with a thickness of 1.5mm – 3.5mm. The screws themselves are manufactured with wings to provide a clearance hole in the wood, ultimately preventing thread engagement.
