It's engineered for a full range of cabinetry and woodworking applications with a variable speed control dial (10,000 - 30,000 RPM) to match the speed to the application, electronic speed control to maintain constant speed under load and soft start feature for smoother start-ups and better accuracy.

The Makita 18v LXT Cordless 82mm Planer is ideal for professional and DIY use as it is unrivalled fr sheer power, size and performance. It has a precision machined aluminium base that allows for planing accuracy and the cutter head makes 14000 cuts per minute for fast stock removal making this machine very versatile.
